Chris Consani and Destiny Highways

In the past seven years Chris Consani has Art Directed the VFX and Character Design on several movies for Rhythm & Hues Studios including “Hop,” “Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeakquel,” “Cirque du Freak: The Vampires Assistant,” “Aliens in the Attic,” “Alvin and the Chipmunks,” “Evan Almighty,” and “Night at the Museum.” Prior to that, Chris worked in Dallas for DNA Productions as an Art Director on the feature “The Ant Bully,” which was released in August 2006.

Chris has experience in pre-visualization and concept art for “Superman Returns,” “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,” “Mighty Mouse” (Nickelodeon CG animated feature that was not released), and “Hopper” (Dream Pictures Studios animated CG feature not released).

At Electronic Arts Chris was Senior Storyboard Artist and Pre-Visual/Concept Artist on “Rising Sun” and storyboard artist on “Lord of the Rings, Return of the King,” “Golden Eye Versus Dr. No” and “Strike.”

Working at Rhythm and Hues as a matte painter and designer, he worked on films such at “Anna and the King,” “Sum of all Fears,” “Bedazzled,” “Dr. Doolittle,” and “End of Days.” He was also Digital Effects Art Supervisor on “Here on Earth.”

Originally, Chris graduated from Art Center College of Design, Pasadena with a B.F.A. with honors in Illustration. He worked for 18 years as a freelance illustrator working for companies such as Miller Brewing Company, McDonald’s, Delta Airlines, MCA Records, Disney Video, and Columbia Records.

Currently, his series of “Hidden Truths” posters can be purchased through Jadei Graphics with Chris Consani being the only artist allowed to paint Elvis Presley in a group. This series features trivia about the characters hidden throughout the artwork.
