RICCI TO CAMEO IN GREY'S ANATOMY

CHRISTINA RICCI will make a cameo appearance in hit US TV medical drama GREY'S ANATOMY next year (06).
The MONSTER star will feature in an episode to be screened on network ABC after the Super Bowl broadcast on 5 February, traditionally the most watched programme on US TV.
Ricci's character is said to come to the show's Seattle Grace Hospital "not as a patient but in a life and death situation".
Her previous TV appearances have included a recent guest spot on JOEY and a role on ALLY McBEAL.

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - "Cursed" actress Christina Ricci will continue her trend of movie misfortune.
The 25-year-old actress will star in "Penelope" as the titular woman who's mad as hell about her lifelong bad luck and isn't going to take it anymore, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The indie project will be produced by Type A Films, the film banner for Reese Witherspoon, who will also take a supporting role.
Mark Palansky, who has worked on a series of Michael Bay films ("Armageddon," "Pearl Harbor," "The Island"), will make his directorial debut based on the script by "Everybody Loves Raymond" scribe Leslie Caveny.
Production is tentatively scheduled to begin in January in Canada.
Ricci's film credits include "The Ice Storm," "The Opposite of Sex," "Sleepy Hollow" and "Monster." "Prozac Nation," which never made it to theaters, has recently been release to DVD.
Witherspoon, who last starred in "Vanity Fair," will star in the upcoming romantic comedy "Just Like Heaven" and the Johnny Cash biopic "Walk the Line," both to hit theaters in the fall.
