Even if you do not have a credit report or credit score again, there are people who will help you get a college degree. Federal Student Aid is available to most people, provided they fall within a specific income bracket. It is also very important to be aware that you can find someone else to cosign for you so you can get a loan to go to school.
Parents are often co-sign for their children and other family members or even a close friend with good credit can help. It may be more difficult to obtain a loan of some kind if you did not create credit, but that does not mean it is not possible. You should be prepared for some of you lower and you should be aware that not everyone want to help you.
Beyond that, do not abandon the idea of going to school. Some colleges will help you find the programs you meet your needs so you can go to school. You can also try to get a secured credit card and use a little – always pay when the bill comes in – so you can make even a little credit. It will not be much, but it will be better than having nothing at all on your credit file when you try to get a student loan.
