The achilles tendon was never made for sport. But treat it right, give it a rest and it will last you a sporting life-time.
The achilles tendon connects the calf muscles to the tip of the heel and transmits their contraction as downward flexion at the ankle, producing heel thrust.

Health Status and Health Costs
Three self-rated health status measures were elicited on five-category scales ranging from "very good" to "very poor": self, spouse and dependents. In all cases, there was little to analyse. There was very little difference between insured and uninsured. However, very good and good accounted for nearly all responses: self 87%, spouse 88.6% and dependents 96.3%. The poor and very poor categories contained between 1% and 2% of responses. The interesting finding, of course, is that perceived health status apparently has no effect on the decision. However, to confuse the issue a little, to a question on the existence of a condition that would probably give rise to substantial health costs, 16.7% gave a positive answer.

What you can learn from the deep sea diver about high blood pressure . . .
Though deep sea diving is hazardous, divers can work for years without serious mishaps. They do so by avoiding troublesome situations . . . and by taking other safety precautions. For instance, they never work too long at great depths under great pressure.
Anyone with high blood pressure (hypertension) of the moderate, uncomplicated type . . . should face his situation in much the same way as the deep sea diver does his work.

Some Characteristic of Second Home Towns
Elsewhere in the world there is much concern about social tensions arising from second home owners squeezing out established communities. This seems to be far less of a characteristic of the Melbourne second home belt. The currently growing second home towns either have a long history of tourism or are purpose built estates on former farm or bush land. Venus Bay is an excellent example of the latter. Established in 1960 on a former dairy farm, it has no established community to feel dispossessed. Nor is there a flow of returning former residents. If anything, it is the spread of Melbourne's suburbia into former second home territory which may be creating feelings of loss amongst those who had second homes in the past.

The Origin of the Horoscope
The decisive turn in the history of astrology occurred Iate in the Greek era, paralleling the metamorphosis of the human spirit in general. The Orient al redemptionist religions began to flourish.

Christianity and Astrology
Early Christianity took far more interest in the stars than did Judaism or Islam. The Revelation of St. John is full of astral allusions. Jesus is referred to as the "light of the world" in the astronomical sense also, and the twelve disciples represented the twelve months of the solar year. John the Baptist stood for the Moon, and was assigned as many disciples as the month had days: 29,5. His one female disciple was counted as only a half!

How can color improve your build?
First, remember that darks help hide problem areas while lights draw attention to them. In other words, a beer belly and a white shirt will make you look like a keg on legs. But there are also subtle adjustments you can make to your physique. For example, to elongate a short torso, match the shade of your belt to your shirt. Conversely, aligning it to your pants can create the illusion of longer legs.

The Problem of Ageing - Long Term Care Insurance
Long term care is primarily concerned with the aged and it is here that the perceived problem arises. By 2021 about twenty per cent of population will be over 65 and the dependency rate (dependency per hundred persons of working age) will have risen from 50 to 55. The problem this could cause in ageing populations has been highlighted, in particular, by the World Bank which argues that there is `a looming old age crisis that threatens not only the old but also their children and grandchildren, who must shoulder, directly or indirectly, much of the increasingly heavy burden of providing for the aged'.
